The National AHEC Organization (NAO), in collaboration with the AHEC in your region, is exploring developing online soft skills training modules for emerging healthcare professionals.
According to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), soft skills include attributes such as effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
NAO is seeking the perspectives of health care employers to determine to what extent the possession of soft skills, or demonstrated training in soft skills, may impact hiring decisions, patient outcomes, and overall job performance.
