Get into the Guts 2023

Get into the Guts March 29th event serves 100 8th Grade students from Poudre and Thompson School Districts

The March 29th Get into the Guts program provided hands-on experiences and exhibits, interactive tours, and actionable information on pathways to healthcare careers.

• 99 students from Weld RE-3J and Greeley-Evans District 6

• 10 interactive exhibitor booths

• Tours of the Aims CC Allied Health & Sciences building including the Nursing Lab, Surgical Tech Lab, Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy Room, Nurse Aid Lab, and Radiological Tech Lab

Student evaluations indicate the following:

• 94% of students know more about current and future occupations in healthcare

• 88% of students are more interested in working in healthcare in the future

• 99% of students were glad they attended Get into the Guts
