Get into the Guts March 29th event serves 100 8th Grade students from Poudre and Thompson School Districts
The March 29th Get into the Guts program provided hands-on experiences and exhibits, interactive tours, and actionable information on pathways to healthcare careers.
99 students from Weld RE-3J and Greeley-Evans District 6
10 interactive exhibitor booths
Tours of the Aims CC Allied Health & Sciences building including the Nursing Lab, Surgical Tech Lab, Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy Room, Nurse Aid Lab, and Radiological Tech Lab
Student evaluations indicate the following:
94% of students know more about current and future occupations in healthcare
88% of students are more interested in working in healthcare in the future
99% of students were glad they attended Get into the Guts
