Inspire the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals - Join us for Get Into the Guts!

Weld RE-5J and Weld RE-4 invite healthcare professionals and organizations to participate in Get Into the Guts, an interactive healthcare careers showcase designed to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

About the Event

Approximately 100 eighth-grade students from five Northern Colorado communities will explore the exciting world of healthcare through engaging, hands-on experiences. Students will rotate between activities at the Allied Health Center and interactive stations hosted by healthcare professionals, meeting in small groups of 5–10 students throughout the morning.

How You Can Participate

Host an interactive booth or table where students can:

• 🩺 Demonstrate healthcare equipment

• ❤️ Teach a basic clinical skill

• 🧤 Provide a hands-on activity

• 💉 Introduce students to your profession and career pathway

Interactive ideas include:

• Stethoscope station

• Vital signs demonstrations

• Suture practice with foam pads

• CPR compressions

• Ultrasound demonstrations

• Physical therapy balance tests

• Or another engaging activity from your area of expertise!
